In short: these terms cover how you can use our website and customer portal, and set expectations for our installation services — quotes are estimates until a site survey confirms them, subsidy and loan approval are decided by the government and lenders (not us), and either of us can raise concerns through the contact details at the end of this page.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mansprit Power Solutions website (mansprit.com), customer portal (my.mansprit.com), and admin console (portal.mansprit.com), together with the solar installation and related services we provide ("Services"). By using our website, submitting a quote request, signing up for our portal, or engaging us for installation services, you agree to these Terms.

If you're entering into these Terms on behalf of a business (for a commercial installation), you confirm you have the authority to do so on that business's behalf.

2. Our services

Mansprit Power Solutions (OPC) Private Limited ("Mansprit," "we," "us") provides:

  • Site survey and system design for residential and commercial rooftop solar
  • Supply and installation of solar panels, inverters, and optional battery storage
  • Assistance filing government solar subsidy applications on your behalf
  • Facilitation of financing/EMI options through third-party lending partners
  • A customer portal for tracking your installation and requesting support

The specific scope, specifications, and price for your installation are set out in the individual quote or contract you sign with us, which takes precedence over these general Terms in the event of any conflict.

3. Quotes & pricing

Any pricing shown on our website, EMI calculator, or provided before a site survey is an estimate only. Your final quote is confirmed only after a physical site survey, based on your roof condition, shading, electrical load, and other site-specific factors. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote document, after which prices may change.

4. Government subsidy assistance

Important: we assist with preparing and submitting your application under schemes such as PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, but eligibility, approval, subsidy amount, and disbursement timeline are determined solely by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), your DISCOM, and other relevant government authorities — not by Mansprit. We do not guarantee approval or any specific subsidy amount, and we are not liable for delays or denials caused by government processing.

5. Financing & EMI facilitation

Important: Mansprit is not a lender. If you choose to finance your installation, we facilitate the introduction and paperwork with our partner banks/NBFCs, but the loan agreement is solely between you and that lender. Interest rates, tenure, approval, and all loan terms are determined entirely by the lender based on their own credit criteria. The EMI calculator on our website provides indicative estimates only and is not a loan offer.

6. Installation & warranty

Workmanship and equipment warranty terms applicable to your specific installation are set out in your signed quote/contract and the manufacturer warranty documentation provided at commissioning. General product warranty periods (e.g. panel performance warranties) are set by the equipment manufacturer, not by Mansprit, though we will assist in coordinating manufacturer warranty claims where applicable.

7. Customer portal use

If you're issued access to our customer portal, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when requested
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share portal access with unauthorized individuals
  • Use the support ticketing feature for its intended purpose, and not submit abusive, false, or fraudulent content
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend portal access in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

8. Cancellation & refunds

If the customer cancels the installation before material delivery, the 50% advance payment will be refunded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mansprit's liability for any claim arising from our Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific installation giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of expected energy savings due to factors outside our control (such as weather, grid outages, or changes in DISCOM policy).

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian consumer protection law.

10. Intellectual property

All content on our website and portal — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by Mansprit or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission, except as necessary to use our Services as intended.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our website, portal, or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
